About

Well, hello there!

Mooncanvas.com is a place where we share some of our creative stuff, because creativity makes the world go round. Also we like to share some of our interests, such as our favourite anime and music, and hope to make friends who are also passionate about them. We enjoy making websites, so we go through quite a few revamps every now and then - hopefully improving each time, of course, so you can have a better time here.

I have always considered myself a weird kid as my trail of thinking often didn’t conform to the norm. I would often daydream, and had no idea who I really was or what I was capable of. A hobby I loved and managed to keep ever since I could remember was origami. There is a sense of magic everytime I pick up a piece of paper and gradually fold it into a piece of artwork. Later I discovered that I could get a similar feeling with drawing. That is, after I met my wife Beebee. She literally introduced me to the world of creativity that I never knew I had and wanted. Now not only have I continued with origami, but also drawing, computer graphics, anime, wallpapers and more. I am grateful to her for all that I have, and hope to share them through this website that we built together. I believe that we are all born artists and it is only a matter of discovering that inner gift inside us. I believe that our child-like nature is the key to our creativity. And I enjoy sharing, because I believe in the idea that we are all connected.

The earliest artwork I have was when I was 5. It was of a stick house with the writing “I love Mum & Dad” (in Thai, because I’m Thai). I started scribbling after reading Doraemon, a wonderfully creative children’s manga. But I really started to enjoy drawing after reading City Hunter manga in 1985. Out of all the manga I was reading at that time, Hojo-sensei’s work was the most realistic, yet also elegantly stylised… and sexy! I spent the next few years learning to draw in his style, so I owe him my artistic foundation. I branched out into all sorts of other styles later on, picking up ideas whenever I see something I like. Now I’m developing my own style.

I enjoy the company of many friends online, and live half my waking life ‘virtually’. It’s fun! I have learned and gained a lot of things from the people on the web, so I try to give back whatever and whenever I can. “Spread the goodwill” is my motto, and “kaze makase” (leave it to the wind) is how I’d like to live life.
