Meeting Maria-sama
Konno Oyuki wrote the novels of Maria-sama ga Miteru, from which came the anime and manga. In general, the manga follows the novels pretty closely, and the anime follows pretty well but may lack details because of its faster pace. If you’d like to immerse in Marimite without comparing between the versions, try the anime, then manga, then novels. This way, it’s like progressing from elementary school, to secondary school, then college. Then the anime won’t seem too simplified.

Bittorrent download. Get the Lililicious version if available. The second season is titled Haru, which means Spring. And don’t forget the DVD Specials! They are KAWAII. If you have any problems downloading, eg. no seeds, let me know! Marimite is not a series to be missed just because of some mere obstacle.
Direct download. As of writing this, the first season is available for download. Recommend that you use download managers such as GetRight, or even better, use Firefox with the DownThemAll extension.
Manga
- Lililicious
Fan translation of the official manga by Nagasawa Satoru. Also, there are some short stories by Hibiki Reine, and doujinshi as well. However, those may contain stories not yet covered in Satoru-sensei’s manga, so I recommend watching the anime first to understand the overall context. All hail the awesome team at Lililicious for giving us wonderful yuri.
Novels
- Ziggr’s Novel Translation Project
- Rosa Chinensis Translation of Ibara no Mori ~ Shiroi Hanabira
Zig is currently translating, as well as having compiled a comprehensive list of links to other existing translations and novel-related info. A great launchbase for delving into the wonderful world of Konno-sensei’s novels.
Erin Subramanian, one of the Lililicious goddesses, has translated Shiroi Hanabira part of Volume 3 - that’s Sei and Shiori! Yay
Erin is also working on more translations at her journal.
